On a holiday to Tasmania in 2013 Clayton Waters and his family were captivated by the sheer beauty of Tasmania and the pristine landscape that creates the perfect environment for producing the highest quality of biltong. Four short months later they had re-located to Southern Tasmania and ever since they have worked tirelessly to bring their dreams to fruition.

Using 100% Tasmanian grassfed beef, Tasmania Wild biltong was born. From spice combinations and recipes handed down over generations, Tasmania Wild has perfected the craft of producing biltong that delivers honest and robust flavours that can only come from a wild environment.

Strategy and Design

To be fair, we had a horse in this race, Clayton is our lead developer Grant’s uncle and when helping family you always want to keep costs to a minimum as well as do an exceptional job that will boost returns for the loved ones. Given the fresh new rustic look of their site, their brand identity was set to match their existing quality branding and sales commenced very shortly after launch.

Although biltong is a relatively new addition to the global snacking scene, it is not a new product. In fact, African communities have been making biltong as a means to preserve meat for hundreds of years. A quality high-protein snack for all occasions.
